Archive: Letters from Immigrants

This collection of letters from immigrants… from different parts of the world to Iran… has been gathered from immigrant families over the past fifty years; families who, due to various reasons, were forced to migrate and gradually explained the hardships and problems that occurred to their families and survivors… These letters, which have been displayed in Hall One through the perspective of good and evil in texts, elements, objects, and papers that have remained, are important from various angles: for research and inspiration to create works of art. They can be explored and studied, showing a narrative through the eyes of immigrants, providing context, history and a glimpse into the collective memory of Iranians, as well as the history of the region over past fifty years…
Their presentation, wrapped in old skin paper rolls, provides a subtle styling while hiding the names.
